"amanda wakely bridal london dress"

I know that the wedding dress is one of a bride’s most important wedding decisions (next to the perfect photographer of course!). The style of dress says so much about your personality! These are some of my favorites from the past three years of REAL brides from weddings that I’ve photographed in Ireland, Italy, and Colorado. They are in no particular order, and there were so many that I didn’t have room to include in one post. Looking forward to seeing what my beautiful brides will wear in 2015!

First is boho bride Sydney in her lace cotton dress from vintage inspired BHLDN Bridal. This casual boho artistic style fit her personality perfectly at her Space Gallery Denver wedding! Loved that Martha Stewart Weddings featured this Colorado wedding!

Ireland wedding dress designer Kathy DeStafford Couture lace wedding dress and bridal headpiece by Jules Contemporary Jewellery, Catherine and Eoin’s wedding at destination Italian wedding venue Borgo Di Tragliata. Loved Catherine’s old world Italian style! She was like a Renaissance princess!

Deirdre’s Old Hollywood vintage starlet style was perfected with her Jenny Packham wedding dress from Kalu in Ireland. She finished her stylish wedding look off with a Pronovias Barcelona bridal headpiece and marcelled waves. Truly loved this couple Andy and Deirdre and their fab wedding at Castle Durrow Ireland wedding venue!

These two weddings were very special to me…Adah and her sister Bo’s weddings in Waterford and Tipperary Ireland. I first photographed Bo’s wedding at Kilshane House, and Adah was the designer of her Swan Lake inspired white duchess satin wedding dress with a feathered birdcage headpiece. A year later, I photographed Adah’s wedding at Waterford Castle where Adah wore two pink satin dresses! She designed her wedding ceremony dress as a 1950s style coat dress and incorporated her grandmother’s fur stole into the design. In the evening at the ceremony at Waterford Castle, she changed into a floor length pink satin crystal-embellished gown. I loved shooting these sister’s wedding and am truly in awe of their style and talent! Adah Lynch Ireland couture dress designer

Jeanette is an actress in Hollywood and it made sense for her to wear a vintage Hollywood designer wedding dress by Ceil Chapman to her wedding to poet Neil in County Clare Ireland. I loved the sweet 1950s design and the beautiful lace and blue accent ribbons!

One of the most elegant brides that I have ever photographed was Stephanie in a beautiful gown by Elizabeth Fillmore. Their wedding was at the historic Dublin wedding venue The Merrion Hotel, and we took these photographs nearby in Iveagh Gardens.

Niamh was a stunning sophisticated bride in her Amanda Wakely Bridal London dress. Her floor length veil echoed the beautiful slender lines of her starlet dress which was perfect for a winter wedding at Tankardstown House in Ireland.

Frances chose the perfect dress for her style with her tulle Vera Wang gown. It rained all day at her wedding in Wexford Ireland, but we got some amazing shots! Don’t let a little rain ruin your mood on your wedding day!

And finally one of my favorite free spirit brides, Rachel in a custom design by Queensland Australia designer Paul Crowley. Rachel was simply elegant in her pale blush gown, and simply stunning with her beautiful red vintage hairstyle with custom headpiece. This wedding was at the vintage Victorian industrial chic venue The Millhouse in Ireland.
