Rome, the eternal city…setting for La Dolce Vita and countless Fellini films, home to the most incredible fashion, history, and food! I am smitten with Italy! My love for Italy comes from my love for Art History. I studied abroad in Florence in college and I cried when I had to come back to Pennsylvania. I loved the grandeur and faded beauty of Italy, the live-life-to-the-fullest lifestyle, the beautiful fashion, the art every where you look, the history, the gelato!!!!
When Catherine and Eoin contacted me about their destination wedding in at Borgo di Tragliata just outside Rome, I was so excited! I had worked with their wedding planner, Linda McAllorum before. I knew it would be wonderful! I am so happy Catherine and Eoin decided to do an engagement shoot in Rome a couple days before their wedding. It gave me a chance to meet them, and it gave them a chance to see what it would be like behind the camera. They had never had a photo-shoot together before, so I hope they had a good time!
I am in love with their shoot. I think it will be fabulous in that 10 years time that they can look back at their shoot in Rome and remember their destination wedding in Italy. They will not only have a set of beautiful wedding photographs in Italy, they will also have a set of photographs of themselves in their non-wedding attire looking amazing!
Thanks again to this sweet couple and look out for their wedding at Borgo di Tragliata soon! And for Italiaphiles, can you tell the location in Rome that we used for this shoot? Leave a comment 🙂
Wonderful photos Lisa as always. I think you’ve shot right next to Pantheon or whatever is the right spelling:) Am I right? What did I win? :))
Yes! You are right! You won a big kiss and hug from me!

How romantic to have an e-shoot in Rome! No idea of the location but I am in love with the patina of those buildings.

Lisa,
My new husband and I LOVE the pictures! We had so much fun and it was great to have some camera practice before the big day.
