LA BADIA DI ORVIETO WEDDING INSPIRATION | MAGNOLIA ROUGE MAGAZINE

Our La Badia di Orvieto destination wedding Italy inspiration is in the print issue of Magnolia Rouge! Magnolia Rouge is a high-end fine art wedding magazine from New Zealand and it is GORGEOUS! So excited to have my photography for the first time with other fine art film wedding photographers such as Erich McVey, Jen Huang, and more!

I photographed this shoot last July 2014 when I photographed Catherine and Eoin’s destination wedding at Borgo Di Tragliata in nearby Rome. Brenda from Italia Celebrations, an American wedding planner in Rome helped us to find this beautiful venue in nearby historic Orvieto. Hotel La Badia di Orvieto is perfect for destination weddings in Italy as it is close to Rome and can be accessed by train, plus the beautiful 12th century abbey appeals to cultured couples looking for a historic venue for their wedding celebrations. Brenda sets up a table outside for small weddings in the ruined abbey! Have a look at her webpage for destination wedding planner in Italy.

Destination wedding stylist Alee Willis also made this shoot possible! She is grace-under-pressure and styled our models perfectly in a blush Max Mara gown with a belt by Enchanted Atelier by Liv Hart, and she foraged a bouquet of flowers on location adding a ribbon by Silk and Willow. Her husband Nathan of Nathan Willis Wedding Films created a beautiful video which will be featured soon. Thank you so much Alee who is a part of a team now called Mitchell-Willis Events in Little Rock Arkansas.

More soon from this shoot, but in the meantime check out Magnolia Rouge magazine.
