Today is Photo Friday and this is the image I chose. It is a portrait of Eric and Marissa in Quin, County Clare from their destination wedding in Ireland. They are a sweet couple from Wisconsin and they made my job as their photographer so easy! They are so in love and really enjoyed creating beautiful imagery for their wedding day heirlooms. I love to use a roll of Ilford 3200 B&W film during the session of the couple’s portraits. This was taken with this film and my Mamiya 645 camera. It has a large grain that is so romantic and dreamy! I love that this portrait is fine art in style and would make a beautiful print on their wall, but I also like how they appear so natural, happy, and in the moment. What do you think? I’m excited to shoot 3 more weddings in Ireland in 2014!
