It’s taken me 9 years of photographing over 100 weddings to develop my style which is what I call fine-art photojournalism. I direct and pose couples in a fine-art style (my clients really appreciate this as it makes them feel and look their best!), but I also am aware and capture those moments that are real and natural. I am able to achieve a great connection with my subjects because I take the time to know them and have a friendly personality that is easy to interact with. I keep my style fresh and original and unique to each client, and that is only possible by limiting my wedding commissions to no more than 15-20 per year (I spend nearly 2-3 weeks with each wedding commission). Everyone can take a photograph, but not everyone can tell a story with their photography or elevate their subjects to art. In my opinion, photography is the one thing from your wedding that you will have after the day is done and you want to make sure you get the right style for you.
