For my recent birthday weekend, we took a sightseeing trip to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods. In the background is the majestic Pike's Peak which inspired the song "America the Beautiful" and the Colorado Gold Rush slogan "Pike's Peak or Bust". The landscape is truly beautiful and inspiring! Mid-October, I went to Coyote Ridge Prairie which is a Fort Collins nature reserve about 10 minutes away from my house.
