People are always interested in my connection to Ireland. I lived in Ireland for 10 years from 2003-2013 because my husband is from Ireland and that is where we decided to live after meeting in Japan. I started my wedding photography career there in 2006. Every year we go back for a couple weeks to visit our family and friends. I have some great vendor friends in the wedding industry and am fortunate to work with them on client’s weddings when I visit. Last summer, I had the honor of working with the talented Alise Taggart on N&F’s wedding at the Cliff at Lyons which is not too far away from Dublin. Alise is a fellow American who is also married to an Irish guy. Her styling talents are just insane and this was one of the most beautiful wedding receptions I have ever photographed! Alise, together with The Informal Florist, created a reception design that was really impressive. This wedding will be in an upcoming issue of Confetti magazine in Ireland. And doesn’t the bride look incredible in her Suzanne Neville gown…like Princess Diana!!!! Bespoke stationery by Dusty Boy Designs.
