In Ireland, there is a tradition of putting out the Child of Prague the night before the wedding as a good luck charm for good weather. Deirdre’s family put one out at Castle Durrow before their wedding on October 4th and it worked its magic! The day before it poured rain and the day after it poured rain, but Saturday the 4th of October the sun shone and it was glorious!
This wedding was absolutely perfect and I am so happy that they chose me as their photographer! Enjoy a little snippet of their beautiful wedding day, with a ceremony at the Catholic Church in Abbeyleix and then the glorious setting of historic Castle Durrow in County Laois Ireland.
